Who is carrying out the research?

I am Dr Rebecca Andrews, a counselling psychologist and consultant psychologist. I have a special interest in working with individuals with learning and behaviours needs in a variety of settings. I specifically work with vulnerable families and children as well as those with mental health issues. I have a private practice within the Forest of Dean and offer services within Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Bristol and Monmouthshire, which include:

I am awaiting confirmation of accreditation as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist under the British Psychological Society and registration with HCPC

Background & interests

I have worked with adults, children and families within the field of learning disabilities since 2004. Part of my role was to work with families involved in transitions which includes liaison with social services. I am currently working within a Children and Families Intensive Support Team.

I have many years experience counselling individuals with learning disabilities (severe to mild) as well as counselling individuals, families and couples in a variety of settings.
